The Neurology department of PRS Hospital has an exceptional team of nationally and internationally trained Neurologists (Both Adult and Paediatric Neurology) who are capable of handling cases of Stroke, Epilepsy, Parkinson’s Disease, Headache, Spinal problems like Backache and Neck Pain, Multiple Sclerosis, Neuropathies and Muscle disorders, thereby integrating the medical knowledge for advanced neurological care and treatment of patients. The department is equipped with a dedicated Neuro Care Unit which deals with Neurology emergencies like acute stroke- IV thrombolysis, Status Epilepticus, Brain trauma etc. Other facilities available are Video EEG, VEP, BERA, EMG, EEG and MRI. Development Assessment Clinic for children also functions which help identify possible developmental problems and the need for further diagnostic evaluation. Memory clinic aims at identifying issues regarding memory which are being properly investigated by a Neurologist along with the Psychologist.
