The surgery department at PRS Hospital is completely outfitted to handle any surgical cases from head to toe. The department works around the clock to handle both elective and emergency patients. The surgeons in the department have no time constraints. In order to consistently improve patient outcomes, shorten recovery times, and improve patient safety, the hospital is devoted to using advanced surgical technologies.The outpatient department is open in the morning and the evening. Casualty's surgical emergencies are handled around-the-clock.
The operation theatre complex is fully equipped to deal with almost all types of elective and complicated surgeries. We do about 1300 major surgeries every year including various laparoscopic procedures. The state of art five operation theatres in the OT Complex, dedicated nursing staff in OT and excellent anaesthetic backup 24 hours a day are the main reasons for the high volume surgical outcome of this department. The surgical infection rate of less than 1% matches with any international standard. The post operative ward does commendable work in immediate post operative management.

- Varicose Vein Surgery
- Laparoscopic (All basic and advanced Lap surgeries) eg:Gall Bladder Stones (Lap chole).
- Laparoscopic Appendicectomy, Hernia repair, Lap fundoplication & other procedures
- Haemorrhoidectomy using stapler and open technique
- Thyroid and major neck surgeries
- Hernia surgery Prolene mesh repair (For Inguinal & All Abdominal Hernias)
