The department has a well equipped Labour Room and it is fully air conditioned with adjustable labour cots, central suction and central oxygen at each bed. There is facility for continuous FHR monitoring, pulse oxymeter, painless labor, facilities like epidural analgesia and Entonox inhaler also has been made available.

Stem cell collection is now being practiced on patient's demand. A new electronic vacuum extractor has been installed with provision for metal and elastic cups and separate cups for occipito posterior presentation.

There is an emergency OT attached to LR complex with 24 hour staff, anaesthetist for emergency caesareans and other major surgeries. In LR 24 hour service of duty doctors with O & G experience and post graduation has been made available.

The department carries out major and minor surgeries, Operations and Diagnostic Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy, Colposcopy/Cryosurgery, Hysterectomy both open and laparoscopy surgery.

There are modern facilities for transvaginal US, 3 D USS, Doppler study with latest equipment and expertise. Through this we are able to provide prenatal diagnostics like NT / NB for Down's screening and Anomaly Scans.
